Technical Support Specialist
Location: Monterrey, N.L.
Industry: Industrial accessories distributor (fluid transport hoses)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mode: On-site
Position Objective
Provide technical product support and deliver training to sales teams, distributors, and customers, ensuring technical excellence and strong customer relationships across the Dixon network.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Product Support
- Provide product specifications, limitations, and recommendations to sales and distributors.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities via phone, email, and field visits.
- Assist customer service with basic technical inquiries.
Training & Development
- Lead monthly training workshops (Monterrey & Mexico City).
- Coordinate event logistics (scheduling, registration, travel, accommodation, certificates).
- Conduct monthly virtual trainings for distributors.
- Develop presentations and materials tailored to each session.
Field Support
- Conduct regional field visits with sales teams.
- Deliver on-site technical training for distributors and users.
- Identify business opportunities during customer visits.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experience: 1–2 years in technical support or engineering roles.
- Technical Skills:
- ERP system knowledge (desirable)
- Microsoft Office (100%)
- Understanding of technical drawings/specifications
- Languages: Advanced English (required)
- Other Requirements: Valid U.S. Visa and Passport; availability to travel.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, proactive, excellent communication, organizational skills, and ease for public speaking.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly Salary: MXN $25,000 gross
