This position requires situational analysis to leverage Jabil’s Supply Chain and Sourcing organizations as well as Jabil’s tools, templates, and processes to ensure we are identifying, validating, and deploying components into Jabil’s supply base correctly. This role must shift and adapt quickly to changing project requirements and act with a sense of urgency. Support of multiple projects/customers and have indirect reports is possible.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESundefinedAccountable for BOM pricing as it evolves through each design and mass production milestone.Responsible for resolving cost differences and addressing supply chain impacts due to BOM changes, design shifts, and scope changes. Responsible for providing detailed explanation for any unresolved issues.Solicits and coordinates supplier Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations as required. Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals.
