Avnet LLC in Mexico is seeking a Technical Lead for computer system assembly engineering activities and NPI support. The role provides technical guidance to sales, production, repair, and customer teams, analyzes ECOs, and coordinates scheduling with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer deadlines.

You will review BOMs, guide sourcing, and drive improvements across engineering programs. Travel is possible and experience with ERP/PLM systems is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 8+ years of experience.
• PMP certification or experience a bonus.
• Familiarity with computer product & major suppliers preferred, not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in analyzing data to determine feasibility of product proposal or change.
• Creates and maintains BOMs within Avnet’s systems. Works with material and supply chain teams to guide product sourcing.
• Manages schedule of all engineering activities on assigned accounts. Works with production teams to minimally disrupt production schedule during change cut-ins.
• May directly implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to document and build process. Communicates Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) to production, sales, and customer engineering team.
• Drives resolution for all technical and process related issues. Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.
• Guides customers and internal teams through Avnet’s business processes. Other duties as assigned.
