Formación

  • 3 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting, preferably in a multinational corporation.

Job Description
About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Senior Analyst to join our GCC Kraft Heinz Mexico organization. The Tax Senior Analyst will be responsible for providing tax compliance and reporting support to our local and global operations, ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across various geographies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns, including corporate income tax, indirect tax (VAT/GST), transfer pricing documentation, and other tax filings for multiple jurisdictions.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis on complex tax issues, including international tax planning, tax treaties, and transfer pricing regulations, to support decision‑making and compliance efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Business Development, to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business initiatives and transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain tax provision calculations, including current and deferred tax assets and liabilities, in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of tax technology solutions, such as tax compliance software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools, to streamline tax processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards across various jurisdictions, and assess their impact on the company’s tax compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Support tax audits and inquiries by tax authorities, including gathering and analyzing relevant documentation, responding to inquiries, and resolving tax issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior tax staff, sharing knowledge and best practices to support their professional development and growth within the tax function.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; master’s degree in taxation or CPA certification preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting, preferably in a multinational corporation or GBS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international and domestic tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles, with experience in multiple tax jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, as well as tax preparation software.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and guidance and apply them to specific business situations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across different regions.
  • Detail‑oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality in tax reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
