Michael Page International México Reclutamiento Especializado S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax activities across Mexico operations.

You will lead VAT refunds, coordinate with SAT and external advisors, and ensure full compliance with Mexican tax laws while advising senior leadership on tax strategy. The role requires 8–15 years in corporate tax or public accounting, strong knowledge of transfer pricing, APA and BEPS, and experience managing audits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• 8–15 years of experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a combination of both.
• Strong knowledge of the Mexican tax system and tax compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing VAT refunds and tax audits.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing, APA, and BEPS regulations.
• Experience interacting directly with SAT and external tax consultants.
• Strong analytical and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate as a trusted advisor and internal consultant to senior leadership.
• Manufacturing and industrial experience is required.
• Preferred technical skills: SAP, Oracle, Power BI, and Excel.

The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax-related activities in Mexico and acting as a trusted advisor to business leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure full compliance with Mexican tax laws and regulations.
• Manage and supervise all tax filings and statutory obligations.
• Lead VAT refund processes and coordinate directly with tax authorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with SAT and external tax advisors.
• Coordinate and manage tax audits, electronic audits, and tax authority inquiries.
• Oversee transfer pricing compliance, APA implementation, and BEPS-related matters.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks across the organization.
• Provide strategic tax advice to senior management and support business initiatives.
• Monitor legislative changes and evaluate their impact on the business.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Operations and Corporate teams on tax-related matters.
• Lead tax projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
