A manufacturing firm in Mexicali is seeking a Tax & Accounting Leader to oversee all accounting operations and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations. The ideal candidate will lead an accounting team, manage audits, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and 5 to 7 years of relevant experience are required, along with expertise in ERP systems and fluent English.

Formación

• 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting and tax areas in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican tax legislation and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the accounting team and supervise daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and review corporate tax returns.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee external audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Provide financial insights to senior management.
