A leading cybersecurity company in Mexico City seeks a professional with field sales experience and knowledge in technical pre-sales support. You will assist in qualifying sales leads, lead technical discussions during sales calls, and serve as the primary technical contact for identified accounts. The ideal candidate has expertise in networking applications and will provide essential post-sales training to customers. The role emphasizes technical skills and a strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies.

Formación

• Experience in field sales with a focus on technical pre-sales.
• Strong background in networking applications and technology.
• Solid experience in customer-facing technical support roles.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls with customers.
• Lead technical contact for post-sales accounts and issues.
• Provide post-sales training to identified customers.

Conocimientos

Field sales experience

LAN/WAN/Internet services administration

Wireless technologies deployment and support

Wireless Authentication technologies understanding

DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP knowledge

Descripción del empleo

Skills & Qualifications

• Field sales experience.
• Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
• Experience with Wireless technologies, deploying, supporting and doing site surveys.
• Solid understanding of Wireless Authentication technologies.
• Exceptional understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
• Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus.
• Solid understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required.
• Certifications: CCIE, CISSP.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
• Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
• Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
• Post-sales - be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and will work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate and resolve customer's technical issues.
• Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
