Job summary

Littelfuse is seeking a Sustaining Engineer to support product modifications and change management for Industrial Circuit Protection products. You will work with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and external customers to drive product performance improvements.

You will lead root-cause investigations, develop and maintain specifications, drawings, and documentation, and ensure compliance with ISO, RoHS, UL, CSA, VDE, and other standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, or related roles.
• Experience managing engineering changes and technical documentation in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing practices and product design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering change management activities, including development of preliminary drawings, change documentation, and implementation of engineering changes.
• Create and maintain marked-up drawings with accurate technical information.
• Coordinate and track engineering changes through approval, implementation, and release.
• Manage product deviations and engineering documentation within company systems.
• Clarify technical requirements related to raw materials, product designs, specifications, and certifications.
