CBRE, Inc. in Mexico City seeks a Sustainability Analyst to join our Sustainability Consulting team. You will support ESG initiatives, sustainability certifications, environmental data management, and reporting across a diverse real estate portfolio.

You will assist LEED, WELL, Fitwel, BREEAM, and IREM projects, manage energy and emissions data, and collaborate with property and operations teams to ensure data quality and accurate reporting. Proficiency in Excel and English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business, Real Estate, or related).
• Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with large datasets and data quality controls is a plus.
• Business-level English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

In this role, you'll support ESG initiatives, sustainability certifications, environmental data management, and reporting efforts across a diverse real estate portfolio.

What you'll do

• Support sustainability certification projects such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel, BREEAM, and IREM.
• Review, track, and maintain documentation required for certification compliance.
• Manage and validate sustainability data related to energy, water, waste, and carbon emissions.
• Analyze environmental performance data and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with property managers, asset managers, and operational teams to ensure data quality and completeness.
• Support sustainability benchmarking and quarterly reporting activities.
• Assist in onboarding assets into sustainability data platforms and provide training materials to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of sustainability processes, procedures, and reporting standards.

What we're looking for

• 1-3 years of experience in an analyst, sustainability, ESG, environmental, or related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience working with large datasets and data quality controls.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams across different regions.
• Business-level English proficiency.
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting, ESG metrics, or carbon emissions reporting is a plus.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot or Claude is a plus.
• Basic understanding of building systems, HVAC, and energy management is preferred.
