The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of expertise in Advanced Supply Chain Planning systems, primarily Kinaxis. Responsibilities include maintaining system functionality, supporting production, and leading process optimizations. Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Purpose

Ensures solution enhancements are successfully adopted by monitoring system effectiveness, defining governance rules, and coaching SMEs. The SC Solutions Sr. Lead plays a vital role in aligning system configurations with global standards and ensuring process continuity across regional and global operations and deliver business value. By maintaining comprehensive system knowledge and documentation, it enables consistent operational continuity, informed decision-making, and adaptability to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain expert knowledge of functional supply chain system to support process execution and optimal data flow regionally.
  • Support operation providing subject matter expertise to ensure continuation of production activities.
  • Monitor system functionality, coordinating testing and resolving performance issues.
  • Own system adoption tracking and identify adoption gaps.
  • Document system configurations and troubleshoot using expert knowledge of interface and structures.
  • Support cross-functional projects and system integrations to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
  • Responsible for major system enhancements or upgrades coordinating with IT, testing and business users to ensure successful implementation and adoption. Own configuration governance rules for system enhancements driven by Super Users.
  • Lead integration efforts for "out of system" processes into supply chain solution.
  • Coach and mentor SMEs to improve system expertise and process understanding.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure system usability and optimization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, IT, or Business Administration.
  • 5-7 years of experience providing SME support in Advanced Supply Chain Planning systems with deep expertise in Kinaxis (RapidResponse/Maestro).
  • Expertise in system processes, enhancements and governance models.
  • Proven expertise in enhancing systems and process improvement.
  • Experience working in a global or regional supply chain environment.
  • Strong customer focus: able to gather and understand customer requirements and objectives.
  • Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex process problems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to use lean and agile techniques.
  • Intermediate in written and spoken English.
