ESAB in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico seeks a Supply Chain Leader to develop and integrate forecasts for internal sales and operations planning, including replenishment, POS data, and promotional information.

You will improve demand forecasting accuracy, maintain product history, and align sales, marketing, and R&D with forecast systems while guiding cross-functional teams on forecasting and planning.

• Maintains and manages product history and accurate forecasting; analyzes demand streams and aligns forecasting with operating units across Sales, Marketing, R&D and planning groups.
• Implements appropriate forecasting algorithms and improves demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration to ensure forecast systems reflect business needs and strategic objectives.

Assists in the improvement of demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers including determining the appropriate algorithm for statistical forecasts. Maintains and manages product history, accurate forecasting, and promotional demand. Analyzes internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. Aligns sales/marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, research and development, and related forecasting and planning groups. Wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Typically requires a degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
