Carrier is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Analyst to manage end-to-end procurement and the supply process for equipment, spare parts, and materials sourced from intercompany plants and external suppliers. The role coordinates PO creation, supplier follow‑up, logistics, import documentation, and shipment tracking through Carrier Transicold warehouses in Mexico and Panama.

  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, international logistics, or supply chain.
  • Experience coordinating domestic and international suppliers.
  • Knowledge of import and export processes.
  • Understanding of international logistics and transportation.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

  • Create and manage purchase orders within the ERP system.
  • Issue purchase orders to intercompany manufacturing plants and external suppliers.
  • Follow up on order confirmations, committed delivery dates, and supplier lead times.
  • Manage purchase order changes, cancellations, and expedite requests.
  • Escalate supply risks and delivery delays.
  • Monitor open purchase orders from creation through final receipt.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date visibility of purchase order backlog and open orders.
  • Validate shipment schedules and material availability.
  • Coordinate corrective actions for delayed or non‑compliant orders.
  • Coordinate supplier pickups with freight forwarders.
  • Track international shipments from origin to destination.
  • Monitor ETD, ETA, and critical transportation milestones.
  • Manage logistics issues and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate all documentation required for importation.
  • Follow up with customs brokers and logistics providers.
  • Monitor customs clearance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements.
  • Resolve import‑related issues.
  • Ensure the timely arrival of materials at Carrier Transicold warehouses in Mexico and Panama.
  • Identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor critical materials and backorders.
  • Maintain close communication with Operations, Customer Service, and Sales teams.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Communicate supply risks, delays, and action plans.
  • Participate in operational review meetings and supply status reviews.

About the role

Responsible for managing the end‑to‑end procurement and supply process for equipment, spare parts, and materials sourced from intercompany manufacturing plants and external suppliers.

This position is responsible for executing the complete supply process, from purchase order creation, supplier follow‑up, logistics coordination, import documentation management, and shipment tracking, through the final receipt of materials at Carrier Transicold warehouses in Mexico and Panama.

Acts as the primary liaison between suppliers, intercompany plants, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure supply continuity and timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

Procurement & Sourcing
  • Create and manage purchase orders within the ERP system.
  • Issue purchase orders to intercompany manufacturing plants and external suppliers.
  • Follow up on order confirmations, committed delivery dates, and supplier lead times.
  • Manage purchase order changes, cancellations, and expedite requests.
  • Escalate supply risks and delivery delays.
Purchase Order Management
  • Monitor open purchase orders from creation through final receipt.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date visibility of purchase order backlog and open orders.

International Logistics Coordination
  • Coordinate supplier pickups with freight forwarders.

Supply Continuity
  • Ensure the timely arrival of materials at Carrier Transicold warehouses in Mexico and Panama.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Communicate supply risks, delays, and action plans.
  • Participate in operational review meetings and supply status reviews.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, International Business, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, international logistics, or supply chain.
  • Experience coordinating domestic and international suppliers.
  • Knowledge of import and export processes.
  • Understanding of international logistics and transportation.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
  • Experience supporting supply chain operations across Latin America.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Experience coordinating freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Experience with intercompany procurement operations.
  • Experience managing purchase order backlog and open orders.
