EDAG Group in Puebla, Mexico is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality activities across automotive projects and support continuous improvement.

You will manage document control, track actions, prepare reports, conduct audits, and apply APQP/PPAP while upholding IATF 16949. Fluent English required; 1 year in automotive with at least 6 months in supplier quality.

Formación

• Requires Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree.
• At least 1 year in automotive industry.
• At least 6 months in supplier quality.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949
• Knowledge of process/product audits
• Basic knowledge of Core Tools APQP and PPAP

Responsabilidades

• Document management, project tracking, and monitoring supplier actions.
• Prepare executive reports and progress updates.
• Ensure reliable, timely information for decision-making and project objectives.
• Monitor deliverables, activities, and deadlines for projects.
• Consolidate and validate supplier and internal data for progress reports.
• Record agreements, risks and deviations during supplier meetings.
• Prepare meeting minutes and follow-up presentations communicating results and status.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, indicators, and control tools.
• Conduct supplier follow-up visits to verify actions implemented.
• Collect objective evidence on supplier progress and compliance.
• Identify Deviations or risks and report promptly.
• Provide admin and analytical support to Quality and Purchasing to drive continuous improvement.

DESCRIPTION

• Document management, project tracking, information consolidation, and monitoring of actions implemented by suppliers.
• Preparation of executive reports.
• Ensuring the availability of reliable and timely information for decision-making and the achievement of project objectives.
• Monitoring compliance with deliverables, activities, and deadlines for assigned projects.
• Consolidate, validate, and update information from suppliers and internal departments to prepare progress reports.
• Provide documentation support during meetings by recording agreements, commitments, risks, and deviations.
• Prepare meeting minutes, executive reports, and follow-up presentations to communicate project results and status.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, indicators, control tools, and other corporate applications.
• Conduct follow-up visits to suppliers to verify the implementation of actions previously defined by Supplier Quality specialists.
• Collect and document objective evidence related to the progress and compliance of supplier actions.
• Identify, record, and promptly report deviations, non-compliance, or risks detected during follow-up activities.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the Quality and Purchasing department, contributing to the continuous improvement of monitoring, document control, and information management processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Industrial, Mechanical Engineeringor related fields.
• 1 year of experience in the automotive industry
• At least 6 months of experience in supplier quality
• Knowledge of IATF 16949
• Knowledge of process/product audits
• Basic knowledge of Core Tools (especially APQP and PPAP)
• Fluent English
• 1 yearcontract
