Stellantis NV seeks a Senior Supplier Quality professional to manage advanced supplier quality for NA and affiliate plants. You will lead cross-functional teams with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Purchasing to ensure timely containment, root-cause analysis and PPAP execution across production programs.

You will present program status updates to senior leaders, coordinate with global teams, and drive safe launch strategies and supplier selection for complex vehicle projects.

Formación

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Biomedical, Biomechanical, Bioengineering, Chemical, Materials, Metallurgical or Mechatronics.
  • 5+ years of work experience in Supplier Quality, Product Quality, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within NA and globally.
  • Strong knowledge in Power BI and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the Advanced Supplier Quality function for designated programs across NA and affiliate plants.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Purchasing.
  • Develop, present and explain program status updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage containment and root cause analysis for non-conforming parts.
  • Oversee PPAP processes for running changes on production programs.
  • Facilitate safe launch strategies and early sourcing for supplier selection.

This role manages new, mid-cycle and carryover vehicle programs that are manufactured in North America(N.A.) and at an STELLANTIS affiliate facility located outside of the N.A. region. This position is responsible for ensuring key quality milestones/goals are met for all supplier components involved. Will manage all aspects of the Advanced Supplier Quality functions as it pertains to STELLANTIS affiliate vehicle projects. This individual will work cross functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Purchasing through the full life cycle of components. This includes, but is not limited to early source package approvals, supplier eligibility, supplier selection, launch phase and into production.

This position is considered the primary SQ contact for N.A. STELLANTIS plants, STELLANTIS affiliate plants in other regions and also the vehicle team for any concerns regarding the quality of parts that we receive from our suppliers. Will work directly with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality to ensure non-conforming parts are handled properly and follow STELLANTIS procedures and guidelines. We are seeking candidates qualified who are skilled Engineers and able to develop, present, and explain program status updates to senior leadership, manage multiple individual work teams, work globally, and are recognizes strong communicators. Additional job responsibilities for this position may include but not limited to the following: lead the collection, coordinate and present program level status updates on Supplier Quality activities for designated programs; work with suppliers and STELLANTIS manufacturing plant personnel to manage the containment and root cause analysis studies being coordinated at the STELLANTIS manufacturing facility; educate STELLANTIS plant staff on STELLANTIS Supplier Quality systems as required; manage Supplier Quality program reporting requirements for program reviews; manage program risk assessment summaries; manage the production part approval process (PPAP) for running changes as needed on current production programs; facilitate the funding and deployment of safe launch strategies/problem resolution reviews and facilitate early sourcing process and supplier selection.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, Aeronautical, Biomedical, Biomechanical, Bioengineering, Chemical, Materials, Metallurgical, or Mechatronics
  • 5 or more years of work experience in Supplier Quality, Product Quality, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the N.A. region and globally as required
  • Strong knowledge in Power BI
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Must have program management work experience.
  • Demonstrate skills in cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrate ability to build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with customers at multiple levels, including those external to the organization.
  • Bilingual (Eng-Span)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree, Green Belt or Black Belt skills/certification (Red X/Shainin) Quality certification
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
  • Creative problem-solving ability and a results orientation, comfortable with complex technical analysis
  • Previous experience as a Supplier Quality and/or Product Design Responsible Lead Engineer.
