AEW Automotive Inc. in Mexico seeks a Supplier Quality Auditor to ensure supplier conformity to IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements.

You will lead audits, supplier evaluations, and continuous improvement programs to prevent defects and sustain production. The role requires strong English communication, coordination with global stakeholders, and the ability to drive corrective actions using 8D and root cause analysis.

Competenze

• VDA 6.3 Certification: hold a valid VDA 6.3 Process Auditor Certificate.
• English Proficiency: Advanced command of the English language to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
• Chinese Proficiency (Plus): Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is advantageous for coordination with China stakeholders.

• Quality Compliance: Ensure supplier compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
• Supplier Management: Evaluate, approve, monitor suppliers through audits, quality assessments and performance analysis.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement supplier improvement programs focusing on defect reduction, COPQ, and recurring issue resolution.
• Complaint Handling: Lead supplier quality claims using 8D, root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions.
• Incoming Inspection: Supervise incoming inspection for raw materials and components per specs and control plans.
• Non-Conforming Material: Manage containment, segregation, return, rework and disposition of non-conforming materials.
• Containment Actions: Implement immediate containment including 100% inspection and classifying non-conforming parts.
• Audits: Conduct supplier quality system and process audits per IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 and standards.
• PPAP & APQP: Review and approve PPAP docs ensuring APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC and validation testing.
• New Projects: Assess and approve new suppliers, materials, components and engineering changes with risk control.
• KPI Monitoring: Track supplier KPIs including PPM, non-conforming deliveries and COPQ.
• Supplier Meetings: Plan periodic follow-ups with critical suppliers and define action plans with deadlines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Warehouse and Quality to resolve quality issues.
• Documentation: Maintain supplier quality records, audits, claims, PPAP, corrective actions and approvals.
