Job summary

Ford México is offering a 12‑month Supplier Technical Assistance program where you’ll support supplier performance, drive process improvements, and mitigate risks. You will interact with cross-functional teams to meet cost, timing and quality objectives, while delivering data-driven insights to guide decisions and track price changes throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering.
• 90% English proficiency (oral, reading, writing, and listening).
• Strong time and data management skills.
• Analytical skills (data-driven and capable of analyzing multiple scenarios).
• Extra academic achievements are a must! (leadership and collaboration skills)
• Leader in student organizations
• Above and beyond activities of any academic program or volunteering
• Innovation and/or disruption projects

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of supply base/commodity strategies.
• Interact and create strong relationship with cross functional teams to deliver common objectives (cost, timing, quality).
• Support delivery of strong data analysis that lead to positive business decisions and robust tracking of price changes through life of the program/project.
• Support Lead sourcing processes to deliver best in class value, diverse supply base and strong business relationships with suppliers.
