Description
Main Objective:
Responsible for ensuring that suppliers and logistics service providers meet MBUSI's operational and compliance standards. This role oversees inbound and outbound logistics, EDI/ASN integration, warehouse validation, and ERP transitions to support smooth supplier onboarding and system implementation. Additionally, this role actively contributes to different task force activities (Logistics, quality, capacity, etc.), addressing critical supply chain challenges, optimizing workflows, and ensuring alignment with operational strategies to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Main Tasks:
1. Warehouse Management (Add / Relocation):
Responsible for conducting warehouse validation audits to ensure MBUSI compliance standards. Coordinate supplier index number registration for transportation updates. Support with topics related EDI/ASN integration and connection issues. Track routing setups and unloading points for relocated warehouses. Support warehouse relocation timeline tracking to prevent disruptions.
2. On Boarding new supplier:
Conduct supplier logistics assessments to ensure adherence to MBUSI onboarding protocols. Monitor ERP/EDI/ASN connectivity and support supplier with connection issues. Validate supplier number updates and oversee label verification processes. Manage inbound and outbound logistics performance tracking for new suppliers. Coordinate onboarding training and ensure packaging and material flow alignment.
3. New/Change JIS & Logistics Service Provider:
Conduct logistics service provider compliance audits based on MBUSI standards. Validate supplier warehouse management systems and operational setup. Support with topics related EDI/ASN integration and connection issues. Track routing configurations and unloading points. Ensure proper alignment of warehouse and supplier operations during transitions.
4. Supplier adding warehouse management system:
Validate supplier warehouse system integration and ensure smooth setup. Oversee material flow accuracy (entry tracking, production orders, inventory control). Ensure suppliers meet MBUSI warehousing standards and timeline requirements. Monitor warehouse operational performance during system implementation. Support in issues related of WMS setup discrepancies and ensure compliance.
Validate supplier number index tracking and update coordination. Oversee packaging re-identification efforts during number transitions. Ensure label updates align with MBUSI compliance standards. Monitor EDI/ASN validation to prevent disruptions in supplier operations. Support logistics integration adjustments for supplier number modifications.
6. Logistics Taskforce:
Participate in logistics task force discussions, analyzing key inefficiencies and supporting project execution. Coordinates logistics operations linked to strategic initiatives. Contributes to supplier onboarding improvements based on task force findings. Works with cross-functional teams to implement supplier onboarding improvements recommended by the task force.

University degree in in Bachelor´s or Master´s:
Preferred but not required certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 19011, VDA6.8.

1. Graduates with first experience in automotive industry (e.g. internships) as well as applicants with minimum 2-3 years work experience at OEMs or suppliers.

4. Extensive knowledge and application of MS-Office and other relevant systems.
