Job Overview
Develops and implements security processes and protocols; supervises security guards and officers.
Responsibilities
- Contribution with Corporate Security in various programs, as well as the planning, execution, and control of all security activities for the operation.
- Risk Prevention and Control, responsible for planning, executing, and controlling the implementation of activities related to the processes of safety prevention of the company's assets.
- Develop standards for the necessary protection in each area, including procedures, training, equipment, access control (for visitors, suppliers, and contractors), compliance and communications regarding asset security.
- Maintain the implementation and monitoring of CTPAT and AEO requirements as well as conducting internal or external audits at other company sites.
- Development of risk assessment and action plans.
- upervision of the security service, responsible for coordinating/managing the operation of the security guards (strategy development and execution) / K9 / escort.
- Responsible for the supervision of CCTV and access control equipment.
- Responsible for overseeing processes and GPS to avoid potential risks in the supply chain.
- Responsible for generating monthly security metrics (incidents, training, prevention of illicit activities, recovery of scrap, savings, local investigations, etc.).
- Responsible for supervising the supply chain security procedures - best practices.
- Support the security audit program for supply chain providers.
- Loss prevention: Create effective methods and processes to prevent risk situations, theft, and control mechanisms for crime prevention.
- Development of operational guidelines manual (implementation and supervision).
- Responsible for the continuous training of the guards (Specific guidelines / CTPAT / AEO / Emergencies / Continuidad del Negocio, etc).
- Responsible for the training and orientation of Security (various topics) for employees - visitors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Support the security audit program for the personnel transportation provider to ensure compliance with TE requirements.
What your background should look like
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in similar roles
- A diploma or degree in Criminology, Law, Comprehensive Security Management, and /or Security Sciences is desirable
- AdvancedEnglish
- Knowledge of CTPAT and AEO requirements, Experience in managing security teams and infrastructures (GPS, CCTV, Access Controls)
- Knowledge in physical security, loss prevention, and investigations,Knowledge in firefighting team and emergency management
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
