Mata Automotive Mexico is seeking a Production Supervisor with a strong background in the automotive industry, specifically with Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers, to lead daily on-floor production activities in Aguascalientes.

You will manage staff, drive productivity, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics and HR to keep production lines running efficiently and on schedule.

Formación

• University degree in production or related field.
• 5 years of experience in automotive industry.
• Experience with automotive interiors (wood, carbon fiber, fiberglass).
• Knowledge of IATF 16949.
• Fluent English (C1).
• On-floor leadership and team supervision.
• Ability to supervise unionized production associates with safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Drive daily production activities and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics, and HR to ensure smooth production flow.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and present production reports for shift closure.

We are looking for: Production Supervisor with a strong background in the automotive industry, specifically within Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive suppliers.

A production supervisor coordinates and oversees daily operations on the production line to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and safety. They manage staff, meet deadlines, optimize resources, and resolve technical issues to achieve the company’s production goals.

Requirements

• University degree, production or related field
• 5 years of experience in a similar position in automotive industry.
• Experience working on automotive interiors, primarily with wood, carbon fiber, and fiberglass
• Domain IATF 16949.
• Team Leader Role Orientation
• Daily management on the floor for multiple production lines.
• Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of your team members.
• Service management for your staff
• Production reports for shift closure
• Fluent English (Minimum C1)
• Lead and supervise unionized production associates while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are achieved.
• Drive daily production activities and quickly resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational performance.
• Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics, and Human Resources to ensure smooth production flow and timely issue resolution.
• Monitor and analyze production KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement effective corrective actions
• Support shift start-ups, line balancing, staffing, and production planning to meet customer demand.
