Fabricantes Consolidados, S. de R.L. is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to oversee external shipping, receiving raw materials, and material control operations. You will ensure daily import/export goals, monitor schedules, and manage loading/unloading of FG and materials.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with 5S/lean practices. Bilingual preferred but not required; on-site position in Mexico.

Formación

• Completion of a degree or vocational program is a plus.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience with shears, press brakes, small tools; CNC machining is a plus.
• Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing techniques.

Responsabilidades

• External shipping loading and unloading of containers.
• Import-Export paperwork preparation and correct receiving of raw materials.
• Coordinate and direct Material Control operations of the Receiving Shipping Department to meet daily Importation and Exportation goals.
• Monitor shipping schedule plan as needed.
• Oversee daily completion of loading and unloading of FG and Raw materials.
• Load on D365 all shipping information on time to process platforms and drivers’ assignments.
• Create urgency with material control team to meet loads per standards.
• Ensure daily shipments are covered with enough platforms to meet shipping schedule.
• Coordinate proactive creation of paperwork to achieve daily crossing to USA.
• Ensure external freight companies comply with Mexican regulations.
• Supervise correct load distribution of containers on platforms by size/weight.
• Evaluate peers’ performance per competencies.

• Be Responsible to Monitor Shipping Schedule plan as needed.
• Oversee daily completion of Loading and unloading of F.G. and Raw materials coming in and out of the facility.
• Load on D365 all shipping information on time to process platforms and drivers’ assignments.
• Create a sense of urgency with material control team to meet preparation of loads according to the established standards
• Make sure all daily shipments are covered with enough platforms to meet the shipping schedule.
• Coordinate the proactive creation of paperwork to achieve daily crossing to USA.
• Make sure all external freight companies working for Confab are in complains with Mexican regulations.
• Supervise the correct loads distribution of contains on platforms according to size and weight requirements.
• Evaluate peers’ performance and efficiency of the activities according to competencies described on the roles and responsibilities format.
• Work with other supervisors to evaluate, analyze, Implement, and sustain continuous improvement action in the area.
• Monitor along with Maintenance the correct up time on machine and equipment needed to perform all the activities in the area.
• Coordinate with maintenance the correct follow up of trucks and platform permits and certification according to city requirements.
• Stay open to negotiating and provide alternatives to a different difficult situation within the area.
• Work with an interdependency mind set to solve problems and create strong relations with other areas.
• Put on practices the Safety culture and sustain along with your area of responsibility.
• Present during morning meeting results and key indicators to other staff members.
