A leading infrastructure solutions provider in Juárez is seeking a Production Manager to supervise the execution of production programs and engineering improvements aligned with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a professional career in Engineering, be bilingual in Spanish and English, and possess over 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environments. The position requires coordinating teams and promoting operational discipline while leveraging lean manufacturing techniques. This role involves preparing reports and continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

  • Professional career completed in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
  • Experience in Manufacturing environments with more than 5 years.
  • Extensive knowledge of plastic injection environments.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate a group of supervisors and engineers.
  • Execute production programs within safety and quality specifications.
  • Prepare statistical and administrative reports.

Conocimientos

Bilingual: Spanish/English

Job Overview

Responsible for complying with work programs, coordinating a group of supervisors and engineers. Responsible for executing production programs, projects and engineering improvements to achieve the production volume with Safety, Quality specifications and within cost parameters predetermined through a work team. Includes the preparation of statistical and administrative reports, continuous improvement & knowledge of lean manufacturing tools.

A Day In The Life
  • Discipline in planning and control of the daily and monthly production plan, OEE
  • Coordination and administration of the personnel in charge of the execution of action plans.
  • Development and implementation of improvements in the area and/or processes
  • Coordination with service departments (Maintenance, Tool Room, HR, etc.)
  • 5's and Industrial Safety activities specific to the position
  • Timely monitoring of COPQ, Effectiveness on a daily basis.
  • Promote operational discipline in the production area
  • Sense of urgency and results-oriented, available to work under pressure
  • Self-directed and motivating
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Professional career completed in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field (master’s degree preferred)
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English (More than 85%)
  • Experience in using SAP, TRESS.
  • Experience in Manufacturing environments (More than 5 years) Medical/Automotive Industry PLUS
  • Knowledge of Plastic, Rubber EPDM or Silicon transformation processes
  • Extensive knowledge of plastic injection environments, molds and peripheral equipment
  • Experience in managing numerous and multifunctional teams in the Molding industry.
  • Analysis of metrics and creation of action plans (Security, 8D's, 5's, Effectiveness, SCRAP)
  • Experience in GEMBAS (Security / 7 Wastes)
  • Engineering experience (Lay Out, Line Balancing, KAIZEN)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Maintenance Administration, SMED, Mold and Tooling Maintenance.
  • Experience in project management, transfer of molds, injection machines and secondary processes
  • Intermediate knowledge of GD&T drawing interpretation and geometric tolerances
  • Knowledge of statistics (CPK, CMK, Gage R&R, Control Charts)
