HARMAN Automotive is seeking an experienced engineer to lead quality and process improvements in the Mexican operation. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, ensure ISO 14001 and IATF 16949:2016 compliance, and oversee team execution to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering and 5+ years in the automotive sector, with the ability to perform under pressure and foster continuous improvement across multidisciplinary teams.

• Initiate corrective actions and provide solutions through established channels.
• Represent client requirements in domestic tasks per BMS and QMS.

About the Role:

What You Will Do:

• Comply with the programming and production with quality.
• Establish multidisciplinary teams for continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce waste.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase work efficiency.
• Compliance in systems, quality management and environmental management implemented in the company.
• Supervises the activities of the team member.
• Ensure that the quality management and environmental management requirements that are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 14001 / IATF 16949: 2016.
• Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any breach
• Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through established communication channels.
• Represent the client's requirements in domestic tasks in accordance with the requirements established in the BMS business management system and QMS quality management system.
• And other activities assigned by your immediate boss.
• Support for editing, dissemination and execution of documents such as VJI, SWC ETC, with the support of the team leader.
• Comply with the established pathway for production in the responsibilities and authorities matrix (F2738481).
• Take actions according to the controls established in the process and stop line if necessary.
