Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing, sourcing strategies, or category management.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, develop, and implement cost-improvement initiatives within Teleflex.
• Consolidate information with other Sourcing specialists to define regional/global strategy.
• Assist, create, and review bids; perform supplier selection.
• Implement strategic sourcing processes where applicable.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop and coordinate savings/category strategy.
• Control expenses and support a culture of long-term savings in purchasing costs.
• Perform risk management for supply agreements and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies.
• Follow safety and corporate regulations and business ethics.
