Ford of Mexico is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Buyer for Vehicle Electronics to help build the supply chain for next-generation connected and electrified vehicles.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree and 5+ years in purchasing, strong analytics and negotiation skills, and proficiency with SAP.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in purchasing, supply chain, or sourcing vehicle electronic commodities.
• Strong analytical skills for sourcing evaluations and business cases.
• Strong negotiation skills to build leverage in various business situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Willingness to travel for business.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute commodity and sourcing strategies for vehicle electronics.
• Build market intelligence on costs and manufacturing processes to guide decisions.
• Lead cost-target and value-management initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Own program sourcing activities from award to final design.
• Lead strategic cost-review sessions and quarterly business reviews.
• Partner with product development, finance, and supplier quality to align sourcing with goals.
