Job summary

HP Mexico seeks a Software Category Manager to lead a complex supply chain sub-category and drive strategic sourcing aligned with business priorities. You will collaborate with senior leaders to influence the industry and optimize supplier performance.

You will conduct in-depth data and market analysis, work with cross-functional teams to improve processes, and negotiate contracts to mitigate risk while achieving cost efficiency with large suppliers.

Qualifications

• A four-year or graduate degree in supply chain, engineering, or business.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience with supplier selection, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Leads a complex supply chain sub-category and develops, executes sourcing strategies.
• Performs data and industry analysis to support data-driven decisions.
• Translates priorities into supply chain strategies with senior stakeholders.
• Collaborates to analyze processes and develop modeling tools for supply chain and finance.
• Leads supplier selection and negotiates contracts to favorable outcomes.
• Ensures procurement policies are followed and metrics met.
