Oferta confidencial, located in Tijuana, Mexico, is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our manufacturing team on-site at the plant. You will lead procurement activities, manage key suppliers, and align with MRP requirements to ensure material availability.

The ideal candidate has 4–6+ years in purchasing within manufacturing, strong negotiation and supplier-management skills, advanced Excel, and fluent English.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 4–6+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP or Oracle preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Advanced English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage purchasing activities and strategic suppliers.
• Ensure material availability according to MRP requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and commercial conditions.
• Develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance in quality, delivery, cost, and service.
• Manage material shortages and supplier recovery plans.
• Support inventory optimization initiatives.
• Identify and develop alternative suppliers to minimize supply-chain risks.
