Emerson in Mexico is seeking a Planning professional to organize material availability and manage production scheduling in alignment with the manufacturing plan. The role focuses on maintaining optimal stock levels, communicating schedules to the production floor, and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.

Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, driving continuous improvements, collaborating with Customer Service on delivery dates, and promoting 5S practices within the planning area.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Administrative Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and Oracle.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and organize material availability.
• Ensure materials for production are available according to the plan.
• Manage production planning activities.
• Communicate production schedule to manufacturing area for adjustments.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
• Ensure fulfillment of commitments for order delivery in the agreed quantities and timelines.
• Analyze and design production scheduling schemes to improve production control.
• Monitor KPIs for the Planning department and drive improvements.
• Review that planning strategies align with inventory objectives.
• Generate reports for monitoring critical items.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to define delivery dates.
• Apply and promote 5S practices and support improvement projects.
• Determine priority of products/orders based on urgency and capacity.
