Oferta confidencial in Mexico is seeking a senior Production Manager to lead strategy, capacity planning, and KPI governance for the Production Department. You will drive efficiency, budget management, and continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong English, and deep knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma, with hands-on leadership of production leaders and budget accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 7+ years in a similar role.
• English proficiency of at least 80% in both spoken and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (VSM, line balancing, Kaizen) and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement production strategies aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
• Ensure production line capacity meets demand, forecasts, and customer commitments.
• Establish production priorities and make decisions in response to changes in demand, material constraints, or capacity limitations.
• Define, establish, and monitor KPIs for the Production Department.
• Ensure achievement of targets for productivity, efficiency, quality, delivery, waste reduction, and manufacturing costs.
• Develop, manage, and control the annual budget for the Production Department.
• Identify and implement strategies to reduce conversion costs, waste, rework, overtime, and resource consumption.
• Optimize utilization of labor, materials, equipment, and installed capacity to maximize productivity.
• Lead, develop, and evaluate performance of production area leaders.
• Establish individual and departmental objectives aligned with organizational goals.
• Define training, competency development, and succession plans for key positions within the department.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, safety, and goal achievement.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Planning, R&D, and HR to resolve issues affecting production performance.
• Ensure processes are carried out per technical specifications and quality standards (ISO, IPC).
