Confie in Mexico seeks a Procurement Manager to lead day-to-day procurement operations, oversee purchasing activities, and negotiate contracts to secure cost-effective sourcing within budget constraints.

You will build standards for purchasing, coach a team of buyers and analysts, and drive a data-driven, strategic transformation with Category Management while fostering ethical, sustainable supplier relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years as purchasing manager.
• 7-10 years of procurement experience.
• Strong team leadership and people development skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices.
• Experience in the North American market and familiarity with local suppliers and sourcing channels.
• Strong budgeting, cost optimization, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of vendor management and source-to-pay systems.
• Analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day operation and development of the procure-to-pay environment.
• Oversee purchasing activities and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Establish relationships with vendors and develop purchasing strategies within budget constraints.
• Create standards and protocols for purchasing processes and continuously improve procurement practices.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of procurement buyers and analysts.
• Build a customer-oriented service culture focused on responsiveness and accuracy.
• Partner with Category Management to move procurement to a strategic, data-driven function.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers for favorable pricing and terms.
• Analyze price proposals and market trends to support procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with organizational goals.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
