Copeland in Chihuahua, Mexico seeks a Senior Cost Accounting Specialist to lead costing governance, inventory valuation, and manufacturing financial analysis onsite. You will partner with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and FP&A to improve margins and efficiency, handling standard cost rolls and ERP/MRP configurations.

The role requires 6–8 years in cost accounting within manufacturing, strong knowledge of GAAP, and advanced Excel with BI tools. Travel and US visa may be required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s Degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, MBA) preferred.
• Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and manufacturing finance.
• US GAAP and Mexican GAAP understanding.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Oracle strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI, Domo, or similar BI platforms.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Valid passport, U.S. visa, and ability to travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cost accounting and costing governance, including standard cost roll and rate setting.
• Own inventory accounting, GL reconciliations, and cycle count governance.
• Develop cost reports and dashboards; support internal/external audits.
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and FP&A on margin improvements.
• Support NPI costing, BOM validation, and profitability analysis.
• Maintain costing procedures and internal controls; drive process improvements.
