Job summary

Hovland Barnes is seeking a senior strategy consultant to lead workstreams, manage analysts, and deliver high-impact analyses for major clients in a hybrid role based in Mexico City. You will drive market sizing, financial modeling, and strategic recommendations while coordinating cross-functional teams.

Requirements include an MBA or equivalent, 5+ years in strategy consulting, and fluency in English. Travel may be required as project needs arise, and you will mentor junior staff and contribute

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent graduate qualification.
• 5+ years in strategy consulting or analytical roles.
• Experience in M&A, financial modeling, market analysis, and business planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of one or more workstreams and oversee analyses.
• Manage analysts and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct market sizing, develop business models, and perform quantitative analyses.
• Design analytical frameworks and strategies to break down business problems.
• Conduct primary and secondary research, including surveys and industry expert consultations.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact and manage expectations.
• Support business development and client relationships.
• Contribute to firm initiatives including recruiting, mentorship, and knowledge development.
