Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Mexico seeks an Advisor, Government and Industry Affairs to lead relations with federal and state governments and key industry associations in Mexico, especially Querétaro and Chihuahua. The role combines strategy development, engagement planning and budget oversight.

You will monitor regulatory developments, influence policy, coordinate with sales and marketing for defence campaigns, and support executives with briefing materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in Mexico Government or Industry Affairs, or Public Policy roles.
• Bachelor degree in public affairs or related discipline required.
• Strong knowledge in Government/Public Affairs, Public Policy and International Trade.

Responsibilities

• Lead Government and Industry Affairs for Mexico, engaging with federal and state governments and associations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and report to internal stakeholders.
• Influence policy to advance Bombardier’s interests in Mexico.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies with government and industry stakeholders.
• Provide budget oversight and support for related activities.
• Prepare briefing materials for executives’ meetings with Mexican stakeholders.
