Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Buyer in Mexico to secure direct material supply for manufacturing continuity, manage inventory, and drive cost efficiency. You will negotiate with suppliers, including those in China, and travel as needed to finalize in-person negotiations.

A degree in business/engineering and 3–5 years in procurement are required, with SAP and English proficiency essential. The role offers exposure across the organization and potential growth into other Supply

Formación

• Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain/Procurement.
• 3–5 years negotiating with suppliers, including in China
• Experience working with SAP
• Conversational English required for work with global suppliers

Responsabilidades

• Ensure direct material supply to support manufacturing continuity.
• Monitor inventory levels and coverage.
• Follow up on SOTD, ECN, ETO, E&O, GRNI, and related processes.
• Manage excess and obsolete inventory.
• Negotiate deliveries with suppliers, including in-person in China.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure procurement goals.
• Approve vendors and purchase orders; manage payments.
• Analyze price proposals and financial data for pricing decisions.
• Prepare and review RFPs and bid packages.
