Job summary

IHG in Mexico, Jalisco region, is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to provide financial, analytical and business planning support to assigned units, coordinating budgets, forecasts and long-range plans aligned with corporate priorities.

You will work with top management to drive monthly and quarterly reporting, develop performance benchmarks, analyze trends and propose improvements to planning and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Hospitality Administration, Accounting, Economics or a related field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• MBA in Finance is preferred for advancement and leadership readiness.
• 5+ years’ progressive work-related experience in financial planning and analysis or management consulting, with solid understanding of multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide project support to assigned business unit(s), including work-planning, research, analysis, presentation development and implementation support to address current operating issues, structures or policies.
• Analyze operating, forecast and budget information for issues of concern regarding trends, competitive position, performance against strategic or tactical expectations, impact of changes in business environment; develop tools to highlight critical concerns and recommendations.
• Work with executives in assigned areas to develop business plans and coordinate budget issues with financial planning staff.
• Develop performance and benchmark measures for corporate functions and establish target performance levels with leadership.
• Establish efficient financial planning and reporting processes and provide reporting data to senior management as needed.
