Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to support occupier and portfolio projects across Mexico. You will lead cost planning, estimating, procurement, and financial reporting, ensuring projects meet time, budget, and client objectives.

Bilingual English/Spanish communication and strong analytical skills are essential. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cost management, experience with corporate real estate, workplace fit-out, and capital programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Finance, Real Estate) or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Project Controls.
Experience managing costs for occupier, workplace, corporate office, fit-out, renovation, or real estate projects.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, procurement, cost planning, and contract administration.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Advanced knowledge of cost control methodologies and financial reporting.
Fluent in English and Spanish; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Cost Planning & Estimating: Prepare feasibility estimates, budgets, and detailed cost plans across project phases.
Procurement & Contract Management: Support tendering, bid analysis, and contract administration.
Cost Control & Financial Management: Monitor expenditures, manage change, and produce monthly reports.
Portfolio & Program Management: Support multiple projects within client portfolios and provide portfolio analysis.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Build relationships and present cost analyses and risk assessments to stakeholders.
