Ivemsa in Mexicali is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead end-to-end financial management, control and compliance for the group, not just the local operation. The CFO will own forecasting, capital allocation, margin management and working capital, reporting to the Board and lenders.

The role combines group-level leadership with hands-on ownership of the numbers, ensuring robust funding and growth across North America, while maintaining liquidity and governance.

Formación

• University degree in Accounting or Public Accounting or equivalent.
• Certified CPC/CPA or equivalent qualification in good standing.
• Detailed knowledge of US GAAP and Mexican NIF standards for statutory accounts.
• Experience in capital allocation, cash flow management and working capital in a growing business.
• Experience supporting growth, funding investments and delivering expected returns.
• Proven Board-level presentation ability and credible financial defense under scrutiny.
• Experience with fixed reporting calendars (weekly cash, monthly close, budget & reforecast).
• Significant experience in manufacturing with standard costing, inventory control and plant cost analysis.
• Experience with IMMEX/maquiladora regimes and intercompany, VAT, transfer pricing consequences.
• Bilingual Spanish and English with report-writing to Board and lenders.
• Advanced financial modelling and Excel; practical ERP experience.

Responsabilidades

• Take end-to-end responsibility for financial management, control and compliance of the group, not just Mexicali.
• Lead forecasting, return on capital invested, margin management and working capital control.
• Present concise, credible numbers to the Board and lenders and defend them under challenge.
• Partner with growth plans in North America and fund expansion while protecting liquidity.
• Be based in Mexicali and present onsite at the plant.
