Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing policies, source materials, and optimize supplier relationships in support of world-class manufacturing standards.

The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain quality, delivery, and cost targets across the supply chain.

Formación

• A.A. degree or combination of education and experience; typically 2+ years of experience.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and data handling.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Background check satisfactory to SEL; negative drug test results.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to purchasing policies to ensure quality, inventory levels, timely delivery and competitive cost.
• Execute strategic sourcing plans to support company objectives.
• Identify risks to SEL's supply chain and report market trends and supplier risks.
• Create and improve supplier partnerships and implement corrective action per World Class Manufacturing principles.
• Demonstrate purchasing fundamentals, data analytics, and negotiation techniques.
• Follow SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
