Rockwell Automation seeks a skilled Purchasing professional to coordinate buying with manufacturing and engineering teams in Monterrey. You will analyze costs, plan volumes for key commodities, and secure materials, components, and services while developing new supplier sources for value optimization.

You will report to the Purchasing Manager in Monterrey and participate in make-versus-buy analyses and supplier evaluations to ensure quality at the best cost.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Materials Management, Purchasing, or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a direct buyer.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate purchasing with manufacturing and engineering to acquire inventory.
• Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities.
• Develop new supply sources where vendors are inadequate.
• Monitor subcontract costs, schedules, and quality for best value.
• Recommend cost-saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis.
