Rockwell Automation in Monterrey is seeking a Purchasing Buyer to coordinate purchasing with manufacturing and engineering to acquire inventory. You will gain deep understanding of products, perform cost analysis, and develop new supplier sources to ensure quality and value.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will monitor supplier delivery, drive on-time performance, build cross-functional relationships, and participate in strategic sourcing and localization programs.

Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory. Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Obtain materials, components, equipment and services. Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure highest quality at best value. May recommend cost‑saving proposals including make‑versus‑buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria. You will report to the Purchasing Manager located in Monterrey.
