Genpact is urgently looking for a strong Consultant to support a US client. Key duties include administering NetApp Storage Cluster-Mode, tuning performance, capacity planning, and NetApp upgrades, with VMware vCenter, Linux/Windows OS, and scripting involved.

The role requires hands-on experience with NetApp products (Snap Center, Storage Grid, Active IQ) and a background in backup, DR, and cloud automation. Strong communication and vendor interaction are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS or related field.
• Experience with NetApp AFF & FAS Arrays.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automations.
• Familiarity with VMware vCenter administration.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery environments.

Responsabilidades

• Administer Primary NetApp Storage Cluster-Mode environments.
• Monitor and tune NetApp AFF & FAS Array performance.
• Plan capacity and storage allocation forecasts.
• Perform NetApp upgrades and maintenance tasks.
• Manage DR and backup workflows; restore requests as needed.

• Primary NetApp Storage Cluster-Mode Administration.
• Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of NetApp AFF & FAS Arrays.
• Experience with capacity planning and storage allocation forecasting.
• Working Experience on NetApp Snap Center , Storage Grid , Active IQ, Grafana Harvest.
• Working experience on NetApp Code upgrades.
• Knowledge on VMware vCenter administration.
• Knowledge on DELL-EMC ECS.
• Working Experience on Brocade/CISCO SAN Switches and zoning.
• Working with an enterprise wide, Disaster-Recovery environment.
• Understanding of Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automations.
• Actively and pre-emptively determine possible faults and causes by the execution of pre-determined health and operational checks.
• Interactions with all levels of the organization and with external clients and Vendors.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work and meet project deadlines.
• Must be self-motivated and work well with other groups.
• Excellent communication skills ( oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
• Having Good Knowledge on scripting.
• Having hands on experience on any cloud platforms and automations.

Backup:

• Analyze backup software performance and monitoring of scheduled backups to ensure success or take remedial action for failures.
• Configure backup policy for new backup clients.
• Manage and resolve Data restore requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in business information systems (IS), computer science or related field, or equivalent-related IT experience.
