Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 8–10 years in quality engineering with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong problem-solving with 8D, RCA, and DOE experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; lean experience.
• CQE or Six Sigma is a plus; HVAC/refrigeration domain a bonus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the activities of Quality Engineers, ensuring effective implementation of quality processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Team Leadership: - Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities. - Monitor and follow up on Quality Engineers' activities, ensuring effective implementation of quality processes. 2. Problem Solving: - Lead complex problem-solving initiatives, applying methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement effective solutions. 3. Kaizen Process Improvements: - Drive Kaizen initiatives to improve quality processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to achieve quality and productivity gains. 4. Quality Metrics and Reporting: - Track and analyze quality metrics, including customer claims, reworks, and scrap. - Provide regular reports to management on quality performance and initiatives. 5. Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain. - Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. 6.
