The successful candidate will oversee Quality Engineers, apply 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments, and advance Kaizen initiatives, quality metrics, and ISO 9001 compliance to boost product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 8–10 years of quality engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience applying 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Quality certifications (CQE or Six Sigma) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers and oversee activities.
• Apply methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and DOE to solve problems.
• Drive Kaizen initiatives to improve quality processes and reduce waste.
• Track quality metrics, reworks, scrap, and customer claims; report to management.

• Maintain quality management documentation and ISO 9001 compliance.
• Review and update PFMEA, Control Plans, and APQP/Core Tools processes.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead our Quality Engineering team, focusing on driving quality excellence, problem-solving, and process improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the activities of Quality Engineers, ensuring effective implementation of quality processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Team Leadership:

  - Lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.

  - Monitor and follow up on Quality Engineers' activities, ensuring effective implementation of quality processes.

• 2. Problem Solving:

  - Lead complex problem-solving initiatives, applying methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments.

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement effective solutions.

• 3. Kaizen Process Improvements:

  - Drive Kaizen initiatives to improve quality processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.

  - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to achieve quality and productivity gains.

• 4. Quality Metrics and Reporting:

  - Track and analyze quality metrics, including customer claims, reworks, and scrap.

  - Provide regular reports to management on quality performance and initiatives.

• 5. Collaboration and Communication:

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.

  - Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

• 6. Quality System Maintenance:

  - Ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and maintain documentation.

  - Identify opportunities for quality system improvements and implement changes.

• 7.- Review, Update Control Plan/PFMEA based on manufacturing process & customer claims, and implementation of APQP and Core Tools process.

What are we looking for?

Requirements:

• - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role, with 3+ years of leadership experience.
• - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience applying methodologies such as 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments.
• - Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• - Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• - Certification in quality engineering (CQE, etc.) or Six Sigma is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• - Experience with Chillers Products or similar industries (HVAC, refrigeration, etc.).
• - Familiarity with advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as FMEA, Control Plans, and Statistical Process Control.
• - Experience with quality management system implementation and maintenance.
