Carrier is seeking a Staff Engineer – LabVIEW & Test Automation to support sites with LabVIEW-based applications, instrumentation, and DAQ hardware. You will standardize LabVIEW usage across sites and align data acquisition efforts, partnering with IT to resolve issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years in LabVIEW development, and strong communication skills. Occasional travel up to 15% across NA, Europe, and Asia is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field.
• Conversational English
• 5+ years in LabVIEW development and DAQ hardware integration
• Certified LabVIEW Developer (current or prior)
• Proven delivery of projects from concept to implementation
• Strong data acquisition and test automation experience
• LabVIEW development and architecture proficiency
• Familiarity with RS-485, USB, GPIB, Modbus, Ethernet
• MS O365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
• SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• HVACR knowledge and gas furnace testing
• Industry standards: ASHRAE, ARI, DOE, UL testing
• Web-based applications development/support
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership on LabVIEW, hardware, and test automation best practices.
• Support LabVIEW projects from concept through deployment.
• Gather and define requirements for new development efforts.
• Act as SME for laboratory systems and data management.
• Coordinate and track internal and external resources through the lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot LabVIEW apps, instrumentation, and DAQ systems at sites.
• Partner with IT to resolve system integration and infrastructure issues.
• Travel up to 15% (NA, Europe, Asia).
