TE Connectivity Corporation seeks a Staff Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer in Querétaro to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of wire harness manufacturing processes. You will drive automation, equipment deployment, and cost reduction while ensuring quality and scalable production.

The role requires 10+ years in cable/harness process development or manufacturing, with experience in robotics, automation, and 3D CAD tools.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or Electrical engineering.
• Ten or more years of experience in process development or manufacturing of Cable and harness assembly.
• Experience leading automation and equipment implementation projects.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes from concept through production release.
• Experience with robotics, machine vision systems, and automated inspection technologies.
• Experience with CREO, SolidWorks, or another 3D CAD platform.
• Knowledge of cable processing technologies including feeding, cutting, stripping, joining (crimping, welding, soldering).
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, MSAs, DOEs, and run-at-rate.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, implementation, optimization, and sustainment of manufacturing processes for cable/harness assembly.
• Drive automation, equipment implementation, cost reduction, quality improvement, and productivity.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Product Engineering, NPI, Supply Chain, Procurement, and suppliers.
• Mentor engineers, technicians, and staff; promote best practices in process development and problem solving.
• Perform design-for-assembly/manufacturing activities to improve manufacturability and total cost.
