Objective:
Ensure compliance with the company's tax obligations through the analysis, preparation, and submission of tax returns, as well as identifying opportunities for tax optimization within the legal framework.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit monthly federal taxes (VAT [including DIOT report], ISR, withholdings, etc.).
- Prepare and submit monthly electronic ledger accounting.
- Review with our consultants the correct preparation and submission of the annual tax return (including ISSIF and DIM annex 9).
- Prepare and submit the annual secretariat of economy report.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annually INEGI report.
- Analyze and reconcile accounts related to taxes.
- Follow up on tax audits and respond to requests from tax authorities and internal audits as well.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the company.
- Support tax planning and implementation of tax efficiency strategies.
- Coordinate with external advisors and other internal areas (accounting, legal, etc.).
- Prepare tax reports for financial management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Solid knowledge of local tax legislation.
- Knowledge of Mexican tax regulations and US GAAP.
- Management of accounting systems and tax platforms (e.g., SAP, SAT webpage).
- Intermediate-advanced Excel.
- Intermediate-advanced English (desirable).
