Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies Inc. in Baja California seeks a Hardware/SoC Test Engineer to join the System Level Test group in a fast-paced environment. You will engage in silicon bring-up, hardware testing, and system software validation across mobile, auto, and server chipsets to stress and validate performance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hardware testing, strong C/C++ skills, and familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG, Lauterbach, and Trace32, with exposure to Android/Linux systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 2+ years hardware/test experience.
• Master's preferred or PhD in related field; strong system and bench-level testing knowledge.
• Experience with embedded systems, SoC-level testing concepts, and Android/Linux RTOS a plus.
• Familiarity with test planning, specifications, and using test sequencers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams for early silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation.
• Test and characterize hardware with system software; verify device performance under varied conditions.
• Develop automated test content to stress SiP/SoC across mobile, automotive, IoT domains.
• Partner with project leads to create effective production screens for system-level issues.
