ZF LIFETEC in Reynosa, Mexico seeks a seasoned supply chain professional to manage inventory metrics, material planning, and supplier relations. The role focuses on optimizing planning, purchases, and warehouse coordination in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has a engineering background, 5+ years in supplier management (automotive preferred), strong MS Office and SAP skills, and proven cross-functional leadership. This on-site position offers growth in a dynamic, safety-driven team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years experience with suppliers and post-negotiations.
• Experience in Automotive industry desirable.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork and sourcing decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Calculate key inventory performance metrics (turnover, days of inventory, etc.).
• Monitor raw material shipments and ensure materials are received.
• Ensure raw material cuts are not generated.
• Close open POs in the system when not required.

Your Tasks

• Calculate key inventory performance metrics such as turnover ratios, cost-benefit trade-offs, days of inventory on hand, labor productivity and inventory valuation.
• Monitor raw material shipments to ensure receipt of material.
• Ensure that raw material cuts are not generated.
• Have detailed knowledge of manufacturing planning, master production scheduling, product definition, inventory control, materials requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, shop floor control, warehousing, transportation and purchasing business functions.
• Close open PO's in the system that are no required.

Your Profile

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (preferable) or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience within suppliers, including experience negotiating with and managing the supply base post-negotiations (Experience in Automotive industry desirable).
• Experience in cross-functional team environment
• Prior experience with sourcing processes/decision making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and SAP.
• High level of independent judgment & High Ethical Standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and analytical and leadership skills.
