Chamberlain Group México is seeking a sourcing professional to develop, maintain and execute supplier strategies, act as the primary contact for preferred suppliers, and ensure compliance with company policies within the Operations and Supply Chain group.

You will facilitate decision-making on New Product Development projects, identify cost-reduction opportunities, assess supplier capabilities, negotiate agreements, and monitor supplier performance while protecting the company’s reputation.

Formación

• Requires 5+ years of sourcing experience with a focus on supplier management.
• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

This role is within Chamberlain Group's Operations and Supply Chain group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Develop, maintain and execute sourcing strategies by assisting Sourcing leadership by building strong relationship with preferred suppliers as the primary contact, and assuring company compliance to policies, and (ii) Facilitate decision-making and alignment on New Product Development projects or sourcing issues, presenting options, risk scenarios and recommendations to the team. Requires 5+ years of relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.

• Develop, maintain and execute sourcing strategies by assisting Sourcing leadership by building strong relationship with preferred suppliers as the primary contact, and assuring company compliance to policies
• Facilitate decision-making and alignment on New Product Development projects or sourcing issues, presenting options, risk scenarios and recommendations to the team
• Manage New Product Development and productivity projects roadmaps for assigned categories; identify cost-reduction opportunities
• Identify and select sources to support new programs and product launches
• Assess supplier requirements, core competencies, and capacities to make recommendations to the Sourcing leaders
• Create, update and negotiate provisions of supplier contractual agreements in alignment with Sourcing initiatives while working with cross-functional departments
• Review reports of industry trade publications and trends and determine appropriate action plans
• Work with Supplier Quality Engineering to ensure supplier quality improvement plans are undertaken and results reported when quality slips below pre-determined threshold
• Monitor supplier scorecard by measuring key performance indicators and resolving issues to improve supplier performance
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
