AlertMedia is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with full-stack experience (Elixir, Python, JavaScript) to build scalable applications in the mass communications domain.

You will work across the stack, contribute to AI-enabled features, and collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams. You will participate in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, CircleCI, and Slack, while promoting quality and best practices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience building scalable applications with Elixir, Python, JavaScript, Django, and React.
• Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Postgres and Redis development experience.
• Proficiency leveraging AI tools for product development.
• Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• English proficiency.
• This position is based in Mexico. Must reside in Mexico and have permanent residency. AlertMedia does not sponsor.

AlertMedia is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with full-stack experience and hands-on experience building scalable applications in Elixir & Python. Who you are:

You thrive in a collaborative engineering environment that plays to everyone's strengths with a willingness to work across the entire stack. Ideally, you have Elixir, Python & JavaScript experience, but more importantly, you care about the quality of your work, the impactful product you help build, and the team you help build it with.

You have AWS experience and are willing to learn from people with both more and less experience than you. You lead by example in adopting and operationalizing AI tools—both within the product and across the development lifecycle.

What you bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
• 6-8 years of experience building scalable applications with modern frameworks using Elixir, Python, JavaScript, Django, and React
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS or other cloud experience a must)
• Postgres & Redis development experience
• Proficiency leveraging AI tools for product development
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage working on multiple projects in parallel
• The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced challenging environment
• English proficiency (written and oral) is required
