Industrias SL, S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Production Planner to ensure 100 percent on-time delivery of PCBA manufacturing based on AE’s shipment commitments.

You will coordinate production planning, material control, and shop floor scheduling across production facilities and subcontractors, while driving lead time reductions and inventory efficiency. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 3+ years in production planning or materials management, and strong English proficiency.

• Capable of responding quickly and decisively to changing requirements in demand and material demand.
• Experience in high mix/low volume, pull-based manufacturing.
• Previous experience with SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the flow of PCBA through the production facility and subcontractors to ensure on-time deliveries.

• Prepare and issue shop floor documentation to meet the Production Schedule.
• Address labor/material shortages and schedule interruptions.
• Communicate delays to customers and resolve delivery queries.
• Consolidate delivery commitments into a single, agreed order schedule.
• Process Engineering Change Orders, Custom BoM releases and new product introductions.
• Provide timely feedback to account reps and operations to keep informed.
• Lead manufacturing data accuracy improvements.
• Analyze long lead time parts with purchasing to develop supply solutions.

Ensures 100 percent on-time delivery of PCBA manufacture to production as scheduled by AE’s committed shipment date. Improves AE’s ability to meet customer delivery requirements by understanding BU capacity, identifying constraints, and actively reducing lead times (availability) by product. Minimizes AE’s investment in raw and finished material inventory where appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the flow of PCBA through the production facility and subcontract manufacturers, ensuring that production operatives / subcontrators have the correct quantities of materials/components and information delivered to them on time at the correct location to achieve on time deliveries.


• Support to co-ordinate all aspects of production planning, material control, shop floor scheduling and labour capacity planning


• Prepare and issue shop floor documentation to meet the Production Schedule


• Works to resolve, labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.


• Liaise with customers to communicate delays and to resolve any delivery queries


• Consolidation of various delivery commitments from Cell Leaders and Purchasing into one agreed order schedule, whilst achieving customer satisfaction.


• Processing Engineering Change Orders, Custom BoM (Bill of Materials) releases and new product Introductions into existing production


• Provide accurate, timely and concise feedback to keep account reps / operations team members/supply chain in the loop


• Take a lead role in the ongoing improvement in manufacturing data accuracy.


• Analyzes long lead time parts and works with purchasing to develop custom supply solutions (e.g. point-of-use material, line-side stocking, kanban, min-max supply, etc.)


• Producing Key Performance Indicator and management reports

Must have qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management, Finance, Materials Management, Computer Information Sciences, or Engineering.


• 3+ years of experience in production planning or material management experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.


• Proficient in english.


• Ability to present ideas in a clear and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing.


• Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in demand, product description, and material demand.


• Excellent judgment and initiative, including the ability to effectively balance multiple priorities


• Experience in a high mix/low volume, pull-based manufacturing environment.


• Proven track record of success and growth in positions of increasing responsibility.


• Previous experience with SAP.

Qualifications we preffer:

• Previous experience in medical or electronics industry. Ideally PCBA /SMT experience.
